SPE Motorsport 6.7L Powerstroke Secondardy Coolant Tank

SPE Motorsport 6.7L Powerstroke Secondary Coolant Tank

The factory secondary coolant tank on the 6.7 Powerstroke is small, made of thin molded plastic, and prone to discoloration and fatigue over time. As these trucks see higher coolant temps, towing demands, upgraded turbo systems, or simply more miles, the OEM tank becomes a reliability risk. The SPE Motorsport Secondary Coolant Tank is built to eliminate those weaknesses with a high-strength, TIG-welded aluminum replacement that outperforms the factory unit in every way.

Designed for all 2011–2026 6.7 Powerstroke trucks, this tank increases durability, maintains proper coolant volume, and gives the engine bay a clean, professional appearance. It is available in raw aluminum, black powder coat, or custom powder-coated finishes to match your build.

Designed and Built right here in the USA!

Stronger Construction. Cleaner Appearance.

The SPE Secondary Coolant Tank replaces the thin, failure-prone OEM plastic tank with a fully welded aluminum assembly built to withstand heat, pressure, and continuous vibration.

The clean, angular design gives the engine bay and complements SPE’s Primary Coolant Tank for a matched, high-end appearance.

 Billet Fittings

Just like the primary tank, the secondary unit uses SPE’s replaceable billet aluminum fittings. These fittings eliminate the sealing issues and long-term fatigue associated with molded plastic ports. They also make the tank serviceable, allowing a single fitting to be replaced without removing or replacing the entire assembly. There are many different style tanks over the many different model years and truck configurations. SPE has taken this into account, we make our tank so it can be configured according to your specific truck. all the fittings are included to do so.

Direct-Fit Installation

This tank installs in the OEM location and uses factory-style routing for a straightforward, bolt-on installation. No modifications, cutting, or drilling required. All hardware and fittings are included.

Powder-Coated Options

The tank is available in:

  • Raw aluminum
  • Black powder coat
  • Custom powder-coated colors (2–6 week lead time depending on color)

Customers can match their tank to other SPE underhood components for a clean, uniform engine bay.
